Due to the traffic on this side of the island, the drive time should be longer than Waikiki.
Two of the best resorts on the North Shore are Turtle Bay and the Courtyard Marriott. Both are great options that offer privacy and great features.

If you want peace, quiet and no crowds, Ko Olina, on the west side of Oahu, Hawaii, is one of the best places to stay.
On this side of the island there are beautiful lakes to explore as well as the famous Disney resorts. If you are looking for a luxurious place to stay in Oahu, Hawaii, Ko Olina is the perfect place for you.

In Ko Olina there are not many cheap places to eat. Compared to vacation rentals, you may find some Airbnb or VRBO listings that are more affordable. Also try the nearby Hampton Inn and Suites in Kapolei.
