The northern end of the strip is home to the original resorts built in the 1950s and 1960s, with many new developments planned. Las Vegas welcomes a new resort complex in the summer of 2021: Resorts World Las Vegas.

You’ll also find the largest underground convention center north of Las Vegas, so if you’re traveling for business, you’ll want to spend some time here. The strip is also home to Desert, Wynn Las Vegas, The Strat, Las Vegas Country Club and more. Spring Mountain Road (which becomes Kumdar Street) usually splits between the northern and southern ends of the strip.
